Evil

Yesterday as I cleaned house I was listening to Chuck Swindoll teaching on parenting. Nelson walked in the room and asked me if he was talking about God? I said yes and he responded, but He is saying "evil". So I began to explain what he was saying about. It went something like this ... Yes Nelson, he's talking about the bible and how we need to be good and not bad. He was so serious and then said, "because evil will come in our heart." I was in awe.

I simply said something like this - yes Nelson and we don't want that. If we do good then Jesus will come in our hearts.

Evil is a word he is picking up on. Saturday Rene was teaching your service. As we listened from the nursery he picked out that word. As we talked about evil and satan he told me "evil is dark".

Today he told his dad that the devil wasn't a good angel. He didn't obey. :)

God please keep the hearts of these children pure before you!

Discipline Emma style

I just heard emma talking to herself she said "obey, obey! go to timeout and eat your cookie!"

Discipline is so hard to balance ....

Looks like i should take some lessons from her .... Sounds like she's got it down. ;)

Emma's sentences.

Emma is starting to talk so "proper". Yesterday at lunch she asked papi, "may I have ...." So cute. She's such a sweetie pie and has such a beautiful personality and sensitive heart.

Emma you are a JOY!

Emma's ducklings - Nelson's imaginary worlds!

Nelson just told me he was going to dress up like a criminal! Haha

You have such an Imagination boy! You said that you're building a nest for Emma because she has ducklings (golf balls).

You love to find everything possible to make piles and create imaginary worlds!

Thankfully Emma plays along at times ;)

And now, Nelson just told me that tomorrow Rene will wake us up like a rooster!!!!!

Without you ....

Your Papi and I went on a getaway to Costa Rica for 6 days. We left Sunday night and returned Friday night.

You all enjoyed "maw-paw camp"!!
Memaw an Papaw came and played with you all the entire week! You went to lion country safari, Kindermusik, the Miami children's museum for dr susses birthday party and much much more! Papaw even set up a tent in the backyard and you liked watching hatching!

We are glad to be back with you now!!
