Sometimes we need help

Papi went to the store with the kids. When he came back he told me that a handyman came to him. He gave him his card and said, "If you ever need any help with anything I can help you". After he walked away Nelson's said, "That's so nice isn't it Papi? Sometimes I could really use some help!"

A "sifter"?

My conversation with a two year old went something like this at Walmart. 

Emma: look mommy it's a sifter! 

Mommy: a what?

Emma: A sifter! Maybe we can find something in the sand! 

Emma's Three!

Emma's THREE! She speaks incredible, loves to laugh, cuddle, snuggle, twirl, twirl her hair, suck her thumb, as is a very good eater. She's my little baby and wants to do everything Nelson does! 

Emma, for your birthday party you wanted a Hello Kitty Costume Tea Party! It was a ton of fun! You even sang the ABCs for us! What a treat! 

Dreams, Fears, Healing

Nelson been telling me about a dream he had - Goliath was in his bed room. He said God didn't speak to him, but God reminded him to turn around and run to his dad for safety. :) He the. said he thinks Goliath is staying there (his room) because he wants to see who is the strongest. So I told him well, we just have to pray - God will take care of you - and David was just a little kid and he killed Goliath! Then he said and "David was king and now he's up there with Uncle Joel!" Then I just started crying! 

There is so much healing that I feel coming to my heart when I have those moments when my eyes are opened and I realize YES he's in such a better place! One day we will be with them - Uncle Joel, David, Abraham, and alll of those who have gone on before us!
